Heard on the grapevine that the Friday evening live music at The Brasshouse is on hold or even abandoned! However, The Velvet Music Rooms, with help from one Jim Simpson, is to hold Friday Live sessions starting off on 12th May with Errol Linton a blues harp player (three times Blues Award winner as British Best Harmonica Player of the Year) with his band.
Booked for Friday 26th is rockabilly band The Delray Rockets with the May 19th booking not yet known.
It remains to be seen who wants to enter the wilds of Broad Street on a Friday (or a Saturday) evening but always good to see new names.
