Blues
A stellar line up for this Blues Alldayer running from 3pm til 8pm and for any music fan, this is one you won’t want to miss:
Blue Nation: Fronted by powerhouse singer-guitarist Neil Murdoch, anchored by groove-master Luke Weston (bass, backing vocals), and driven by the explosive Nick Sharman on drums, this trio is igniting a new era of arena-ready blues-rock. Blue Nation fuse the swagger of classic British rock, Beatles, Cream, Zeppelin, with the modern fire of Rival Sons and Vintage Trouble. The result: riff-rich, melodic blues-rock that feels both timeless and thrillingly fresh. It’s music built to shake stadiums and win over the world.
The Dirt Road Band are Steve Walwyn, guitar and vocals, Horace Panter, bass, and Ted Duggan, drums. They play hard, punchy blues-rock music that makes your heart beat faster. Walwyn has played guitar for a living for the past 45 years, 32 of those as a member of Dr Feelgood. Panter was a founding member of The Specials. He’s been doing this a while too, as has Duggan who has enjoyed spells with Banco de Gaia and more recently, Badfinger. Three highly proficient and time-served players doing what they do best!
Adams & Friends is a musical collaboration led by vintage Birmingham drummer Roy Adams. Roy has toured, recorded and gigged with the likes of Roy Wood, Ruby Turner, Mica Paris, Tony Christie, the Climax Blues Band, more.
Gabriella Jones is a singer/songwriter from Birmingham and Gibson Artist. She has played the Wireless Festival and Hard Rock Calling Festivals in Hyde Park along with the Isle of Wight Festival. Her style combines soulful vocals with rock guitar and catchy melodies you’ll be singing all the way home!
