Songhoy Blues

Songhoy Blues are a much-adored band formed in Timbuktu in Mali. The group formed after they had been forced to leave and subsequently fled their hometown. Their rousing, psychedelic blues sound has attracted attention from some of the biggest names in music (Iggy Pop, Julian Casablancas, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs to name a few) who have stepped in to aid them on their journey to global stardom.

To celebrate their 2025 album, "Héritage", the band have bestowed upon us 10 pearls of wisdom for music, creativity, optimism and never giving up.
