André Bassing - Keys
Born in Germany, André had a traditional musical education starting with classical piano before studying jazz at the renowned Weimar Conservatoire. Since he moved to the UK he has been working as a session musician & has toured extensively worldwide with many international artists playing a vast array of musical genres.

Boneto Dryden - Drums
Known affectionately as 'Bunny' started musical journey when he was 12 years old playing the drums at his local church and by the time he was 14 he was the first call drummer for many local choirs, Gospel and Jazz bands.
His work on the local scene brought him to the attention of many notable musicians leading him to perform and record with various artists from across the musical spectrum. These include Chaka Khan, Musical Youth, Soweto Kinch, Pato Banton, The Risk, Ruby Turner and Joolz Gianni. Bunny's chameleon like ability and master
of styles keep him in demand and makes him the perfect drummer for any show.

Simon Smith~Bass
One of the UK's in demand bassists. He has worked extensively as a freelance musician throughout the UK, Europe and the US, including a five year stint based in Los Angeles. Simon’s recording credits include Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, Wilson Phillips, Glen Ballard and Dave Stewart. He has worked in live touring bands of artists as diverse as Idina Menzel, Linda Perry, Carl Barât and Carina Round performing at venues and events including Lincoln Center (New York), Ambassadors Theatre, Glastonbury Festival, South by Southwest and La Bâtie Festival (Geneva) amongst many others.

We host live music in our restaurant lounge which moves out to our garden in the spring and summer months.

We are an independent restaurant, bar and guesthouse located in Edgbaston near to Birmingham city centre. Housed in a beautiful Edwardian building, our venue has lots of character with a large leafy courtyard in which to enjoy a drink or dine.

Our South-East Asian fusion food is unique and inspired by the incredible delicacies of Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia and Malaysia.

With a real ‘blue piano’, we are a destination for musicians and music lovers with an eclectic programme of live music throughout the year that will appeal to all.
