Thomas Atlas, a versatile British guitarist, vocalist, and gifted songwriter, has navigated a captivating musical odyssey. Commencing his career by touring the UK and USA with Soul and Blues ensembles, he later embarked on a solo trajectory that marked a defining shift. A significant turning point was the infusion of talent from "The Brand New Heavies," including the trumpet virtuoso Bryan Corbett, which reshaped his musical trajectory.

In 2018, a cascade of triumphs emerged from a series of "Garage Funk" YouTube videos, igniting fervor among fans and industry connoisseurs alike. These videos offered a tantalizing glimpse into Atlas's creative reservoir. Stepping out from the garage, he ascended to illustrious UK venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The 100 Club, Birmingham Town Hall, and the esteemed Birmingham Symphony Hall. A residency at Jools Holland’s The Jam House underscored his ascendancy.

Venturing beyond borders in 2019, Atlas captivated European audiences with his signature guitar prowess. His compositions intertwined scintillating Blues solos with intoxicating Funk-laden arrangements, creating an electrifying musical tapestry.

The year 2021 saw a pivotal alliance with the record label Hillside Global for his debut studio album. Boasting ten tracks, the eponymous album exudes the vibrancy of freshly pressed fruit, channeling inspiration from luminaries like Maceo Parker and George Duke while upholding Atlas's singular vision.



Among the standout tracks, "Juice" emerged as a shining beacon. Handpicked by Spotify for their eminent 'All Funked Up' playlist, the song amassed a staggering 300k streams, catapulting Atlas into the global spotlight. The intoxicating funk fusion in "Juice" served as a conduit to introduce his artistry to a diverse and expansive audience.

Since the resounding success of "Juice", Thomas has been riding a wave of accomplishments. His journey has taken him to stages across the globe, captivating audiences with his magnetic performances. Notably, he has graced numerous festivals, including the vibrant Party in the Park, the Dartmouth Music Festival, and prestigious events like the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, The Great British Rock & Blues Festival and The Giants of Rock Festival is among the many others that have witnessed his spirited presence.

Beyond the festival circuit, Thomas's music has resonated through the British Isles and beyond. His headline shows have achieved resounding success, with sold-out performances at London's intimate Piano Smithfield, hometown gigs at the renowned Birmingham venue The Jam House, and late-night electrifying sets at Scotland's premier jazz club, The Edinburgh Jazz Bar.

Thomas's tireless dedication to his craft has also led him to more exciting international ventures. Among them, he embarked on two-week residencies on the enchanting Greek island of Rhodes.

2024, Thomas is poised for his most bustling year yet. Anticipation is building as he prepares for new releases and an extensive European Tour that will carry him through the year, culminating in a festive season filled with music and celebration. His journey from "Juice" to this moment exemplifies his unwavering commitment to his artistry and his determination to share his music with the world.

he Jam House opened on 23 April 1999 creating a unique music experience that combines rhythm ‘n’ blues, soul, jazz and pop every night of the week together with imaginative international food.
This very individual venue is supported by boogie-woogie king, TV presenter and pianist Jools Holland who rocked the place on the opening night and will be dropping in from time to time.
Situated within the exclusive setting of St. Paul’s Square, the JamHouse is a unique Birmingham venue with a history of music and fine dining. The relaxed ambience of this Georgian building coupled with our sophisticated catering make the JamHouse an experience that you will certainly impress family, friends and the employees and clients that you value the most.
Stylish, yet informal, The Jam House is spread over three airy floors and holds up to 600 people. The open plan, top floor restaurant has seating for over 80 people and is very popular for corporate events and business/social lunches. The stage, dance area and informal seating can be found on the first floor along with a state-of-the-art bar running the width and height of the room. The ground floor hosts another impressive bar and seating area.
An events co-ordinator is available if required, and we can also offer superior audio-visual presentation equipment. Our outstanding facilities are available from Sunday to Wednesday for private events.
